Who is the best young star in the NBA today?

The NBA is at one of it's all time highs in the history of the league, mostly because young talented players are coming out of high school and staying one or two years in college and dominating the league. Now the question is which great young player will lead his team to championships? Will it be the explosive point guard who has resurrected a city that has not seen a championship since Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls? Will it be the scoring champion of the last two seasons, Kevin Durant of the O.K.C Thunder?Or will it be arguably the best athlete in the league, Dunk Contest Champion and Rookie of the Year this year, Blake Griffin of the L.A Clippers? View the videos below and make your choice

Derrick Rose is the home town hero, born and raised in Chicago. He went to Memphis where he spent one year and lost in the championship game to the Kansas Jay Hawks. He was the number one pick in the 2008 draft. Rose made his first All Star Game in just his second season and started this year in his third. Rose is now the lead candidate for MVP and lead the Bulls to a record of 62-20.

Kevin Durant was born in Washington D.C. He played his college ball at Texas where he was the Player of the Year. Durant was the second pick in the 2007 draft by the Seattle Supersonics. He was the rookie of the year and averaged 20 ppg. The last two seasons Durant has been the leading scorer in the league. Durant also made his first All Star game last year and started for the West. Durant has lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a record of 55-27.

Blake Griffin was born in Oklahoma City. He attended college at Oklahoma were he played alongside his brother Taylor. Griffin stayed two years at Oklahoma. He was the first pick in the 2009 draft. Unfortunately he injured his patella and was unable to play his rookie season because of surgery. This year Blake set mild stone records by passing players like Shaq, Tim Duncan, and Moses Malone. He made the All Star team as a rookie and also was the winner of the dunk contest. He lead the Clippers to a record of 32-50.
